Architecture By Domani

U.S.- Israeli robotics startup Fabric, designs and manufacture automated micro-fulfillment centers for retail customers. Fabric’s robotic distribution centers are the most flexible, robust, and reliable micro-fulfillment platform on the global market. Their platform was specially designed to enable one-hour delivery of pick up for customers.

King Rose built Fabric’s first robotic fulfillment Center in the United States in Gowanus, Brooklyn. The robotic fulfillment center was built within a 100 year old manufacturing building up against the Gowanus Canal with challenging site conditions. At the project’s onset King Rose installed approximately 100 helical piles tens of feet deep to provide a new structural slab strong enough to support the 27’ high custom fabricated robotic shelving. Careful measuring of every component of the project enabled the robots to be deployed on time and to the exacting specifications of the robotics engineering team. The project included sophisticated controls and ventilation systems to enable 24 hour operations.
