We are New York City construction experts and are looking for a driven, socially skilled individual who can manage commercial renovation construction projects exclusively within the 5 boroughs of New York City. We provide fantastic administrative support and the latest web-based project management technology needed to succeed on every project.
We are currently looking for a well-rounded Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate would have several years of experience estimating commercial interior projects in New York City
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of General Contracting Estimating experience, preferably in NYC
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of drawings and specifications
- Conduct quantity take-offs from the drawings and prepare proposals
- Prepare construction budgets
- Prepare bid packages.
- Issue RFIs
- Prepare and send out ITBs to vendors and subcontractors
- Possesses the ability to use an estimating program such as "Planswift".
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferably in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
- Excel Proficiency
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications
